Mahima Marayoor Jaggery

Jaggery, a natural sweetener and a good source of nutrients is becoming popular as a "healthy" replacement for white sugar. This chemical free jaggery is dark brown coloured.

This Jaggery is unrefined and chemical free and prepared from hand picked organic sugarcanes. It works as delicious natural sweetener in daily cooking. organically made jaggery is rich in minerals like iron, magnesium, calcium, and phosphorus. The colour of the jaggery also plays an important role in identifying purity. Ideally the colour of the jaggery should be dark brown.

MAHIMA MARAYOOR JAGGERY is basically jaggery produced from the extracts of sugarcane. Our jaggery is being allocated in Marayoor category among jaggery types because we use sugarcanes cultivated only in the land of Marayoor. Marayoor or Marayur is a town located in the Idukki district of Kerala. This place in South India is famous for its natural Sandalwood forests and sugar rich jaggery production. Marayoor Sarkara or Marayoor Jaggery is known to be one of the sweetest jaggery available in India. Jaggery production is considered to be a cottage industry in this part of the world and is traditionally made in the respective farms. Initially, the sugar cane juice is heated in a huge vessel. It is then boiled and condensed to form high-quality jaggery. Marayoor falls in the rain shadow region and the quality of the molasses is attributed to the specialty in temperature and the ph value of the earth. Some of the famous temples in Kerala are also using Marayoor Sarkara. Our product stands out from other jaggery due to its high quality.

MAHIMA MARAYOOR JAGGERY is prepared without compromising the heritage goodness of traditional marayoor jaggery combined with the aid of modern technology. We do follow the conventional method of producing jaggery incorporated with the addition of technologies. By the implementation of these technologies we have achieved a consistency in the quality of our product. Basically, our product is processed through two major stages. The primary processing of our product is done in our plant based at Marayoor. The semi  processed product is then shipped to secondary processing which is done at our facility at Neriamangalam. We are adopting this method in order to reduce the total cost of production of our product. During the final stage of packing, the semi  finished product is subjected to a number of most modern packing technologies which results in the end finished MAHIMA MARAYOOR JAGGERY. We can assure one thing to our customers that we have brought such a high standard in quality without the aid of any chemical treatment during processing stage. This is the one reason why MAHIMA MARAYOOR JAGGERY is relatively harder in its texture when compared to other jaggeries available in open market. We could have produced our product in other desired forms as per our customers requirement but it will reduce the quality of the product. We always give our customers the best quality that can be acquired.

Yes, this is an innovative product. This is mainly due to two reasons. Firstly, we have given our product an extended shelf life up to one year without any chemical treatment. Secondly, our product is in ready to use format.
